Cannot View Properties Window for a Report

Help! I have a Access 97 DB that was converted to Access 2003. For some
reason, I am unable to view the Properties window in design view of the
Report. I can view the properties for forms in this db but not for this
report or any new report I create! What did I do?
 
You didn't search the news groups for similar problems. You can bet that if
you are having an issue, someone else has experienced the same and has
asked.

You might want to make sure you have a default printer defined in Windows.
 
I beg to differ with you! I have spent a considerable amount of time looking
for such information!!! There are several posts regarding not being able to
view toolbox, etc. However, cannot find anything relative to properties.
When I right click below the body of the form, I am used to selecting
"Properties" and then being able to acces properties for the form and it's
controls. However, when I do this now, I do not see the window. I know the
properties window has been "activated" as the status bar message changes from
the words "Design View" to one of the properties field titles.

If the report is open in design view, maybe(??) the
properties window has shifted off screen. After opening it
and you're sure it has the focus, try using Alt Space Enter
to place the window in move mode. Then use te arrow keys to
try to bring it back into view. Alternatively, Right click
on a blank area of the windows task bar and select tile
windows.

You were right on, thank you very much. I do not know how that window got
way over there!!!!! Thanks for your very constructive assitance and teaching
me something!
 
Sorry tkosel, my mistake. I thought you message read that you couldn't view
the design view of the report. This would have been a very common question
recently. I haven't seen the Property dialog being missing for several
months or even longer.
