Cannot view pics ?

I asked this a couple of weeks ago but i never got any help. But if i place
a jpg on my desktop and click on it (opens with Windows Fax & Pic viewer by
default), it doesn't open, it just says 'No preview available'. However, if
i put the jpg into any yellow folder, i can view it as normal.

What's going on here, i have ried for weeks to sort this but i need help
from someone with more knowledge than me.

A few things to try...

Click START|RUN and type this...

REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL <enter>

If that does nothing, you might want to test a fine, free image viewer
that, if desired, can be associated with .jpg or most any image file type...
