Cannot View Appointments Prior to 2004

Using Outlook, All appointments, etc. seem to diappear prior to 2 years ago?
I need this histroy, can I get it back?
 
Do you have auto archive turned on? Maybe they were stuck into an archive
pst?

Check Tools -> Options -> Other.

If it's turned on, you'll have to open that data file to see them. Or import
them back from the archive file.
 
Hi Josh - nice to see you here. However, one piece of advice - never advise
a poster to import data from a native Outlook Data File - you will
consistently lose:

custom forms
connections between contacts and activities
connections between contacts and calendar
received dates on emails (converts to import date)
distribution lists will not transfer
etc.

Simply open the file and, if necessary to restore data to the default data
store, use drag and drop.

Yes, Auto Archive is turned on, set at every 14 days with archive older then
6 months.
When I go to the location of the files I found 2 files 1st file: archive
Office Data File 55,376 KB & 2nd file: outlook Office Data File 131,952 KB,
are these likely the information and how do you open them. When I click on
them they are .pst files, it also says editing or modifying them could damage
your system... Thank you both for your responses and please give addtional
help. ED
