Cannot use rkill

Hello

I don't know if this is the right Newsgroup. If it isn't
please advise.

I have some problems with rkill command. I have 2
computers in a workgroup called "home". I am trying to
kill a proccess on a remote computer using the rkill
command and I get the following errors :

1. rkill /install \\servername -
Opening Service Control manager on \\servername access
is denied


2. rkill /view \\servername - The RPC server is
unavailable

I tried everything I possibly could.

You might try using the IP address of the other computer instead of the name and you
also need to be logged on with an account/password that has administrative
credentials on the other computer. You may also want to try Pskill from
ysInternals. --- Steve
