Cannot use emoticons

Hello,
We installed LCS in a company and now every time a user
of Windows Messenger 5.0 tries to send an emoticon (one
of the included)and instead of showing it, it displays
the symbols. what do you think is happening? What do you
recommend us to do?

Try typing the symbol that you see and see if it turns into a emotion when u send it through. If that doesnt work than i think the messenger is bad. Try getting a new version that might help. Thanks! Ill keep ya posted. Let me know if it keeps doing that!
