When I try to uninstall a gadget by right-clicking on its icon in the sidebar
folder. I get a window titled "Destination Folder Access Denied," with "You
need permission to perform this action." I have administrator access. Why
am I getting this message?

Are you trying to just remove it from the sidebar?
If so, choose |close gadget| from the right click menu.

If you are trying to totally uninstall,
Are you clicking the + sign at the top of the side bar,
and then right clicking the gadget in the gallery that opens
and selecting uninstall?

Hi Ernie,

Precisely what folder are you trying to work from?

To uninstall a gadget, right click the icon in the taskbar and choose
properties. Click the button to "view a list of running gadgets". Select the
one you want and then click on "remove".
