cannot uninstall IntelliPoint4.1: get "install service
could not be accessed" Has happened to several programs
I'm trying to remove, but not all of them. I guess ones
mostly installed in the past 6 mos or so. Thanks.

The easiest to do is reinstall it, then immediately remove it.

I guess I was afraid of that... I returned it because it
was a faulty mouse, but not software rather the ball was
not connecting with the sensors and I did not get another
one. Any other ideas? Thanks.
 
You can download the Intellipoint 4.12 version of the driver on
www.microsoft.com. Just look under Windows NT downloads.

Also, I had Intellipoint 4.1 installed on my system. The installer had
created a folder, in Program Files, which contained the Setup.exe porgram.
