how do i stop an apt. that goes past 12:00 a.m from showing up on the next day?

I know that. but I still need the ending time of the appointment. I didn't
want to have to write it somewhere else.

if the end time extends into the next day, the appointment in the calendar
will show on the next day. There is no way to avoid it.
