Cannot start Windows XP

I am unable to start my Windows XP. I was fixing my external hard drive and
was in disk utility I mistakenly renamed my C drive as a G and since then my
computer only gets to the screen that has the Windows Logo and it says XP and
it doesn't go any further, please help.
 
which disk utility did u use if it was external utility run from floppy or
cd run it and change it back this fix it.
