Hello, I have a user who is running Windows XP SP2 and office 2003 sp2. He
has been inseting .pdf obects in to his excel spread sheets (shown as an
icon) and this has been functioning fine until recently. Now when he does
this he gets the error message "cannot start the source application for this
object". Thinking it was his machine i tried it on mine and recieved the
same error. I tried it with a word document and it opened right up. I tried
the suggestion that was posted on 5/24/06 with a similar subect title but
that did not help. i have searched microsoft, google, yahoo and the forum
with so successful solution. Anyone have any ideas?? Please, thanks
