Ok. I am relativly new to this but here it goes. I have
a DHCP server running on the main server that I want to
use as a VPN server. I am running Windows 2000 server.
I want to be able to start the remote access and routing
service so that I am able to access the network through
the internet. I do not want to be able to dial-up. Do I
need to have two ethernet adapters? The adapter I have
is connected into a switch, and the switch is connected
to the modem. Anyone have any ideas?

Yaa you need two adapters.
The reason is
1) if you want to connect to ur network through internet
then you need ip connectivity established(since you have
said that you dont want to dial)Then your intenal
network.
2)then you want to access resource in your network for
which one more adapter connected to internal network must
be present.

Please bear in mind that rotuing and remote access is
enabled ina a coumpuer when tio is used for routing
purpose. In order to do routing the coumputer that runs
RRAS must have a minimum of two adapters.Trust this
