Cannot start outlook 2007

Ok, so not so good at this.
Outlook crashed yesterday and since then all i get when i try and open is
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.

Pls help??

I can re-install but will i lose all my email / contacts? Can i copy them
from someowhere?

Reinstalling probably wouldn't fix this particular problem. Try starting
Outlook once with the /resetnavpane command switch.

I had the same problem, that fix worked, but I have to do it every time I
open Outlook. Is there a permanent fix?

Just once should do the job.
 
Great solution. I had this problem, too. Nothing worked until I
tried the /resertnavpane switch, which resolved the issue. Thank you.
