Jim Wo.

We have been having a problem for about 4 months and have
been given nothing but hoops to junp through. Each time
we call a different number, we are redirected to one more
person. Our patience is wearing thin and you are the
latest in a long string of red tape.

I am on the web and click on a link on a web page and I
get a message that says "Cannot start Microsoft outlook
the .DLL file for the information service could not be
found. MAPI was unable to load information service
PSTPRX.DLL". This has been like this since we got the
computer new from Dell.

We have removed and reinstalled the operating system with
the Dell techs help, and we still have the problem.

I have tried to get help from Dell and Comcast with no
luck. Can anyone please help.

Thanks, Jim

Try this workaround or install latest Office service pack (see Q293053
from MS Knowledge base):

1. Close Outlook 2002.
2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Mail.
4. Click Show Profiles, click Add, name the profile, and then click
OK.
5. Click "Add a new e-mail account", and then click Next.
6. Click a type of account, and then click Next.
7. In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, enter the necessary information,
and then click Next.
8. Click Finish.
9. If the "Always use this profile" option is selected, select the
profile that you just created, and then click OK.
