Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook

I have the following error message: "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot
open the Outlook window." How do I recover from this in Windows 7?
 
What version of Outlook? Did this work before? Have you created a profile
for Outlook to use?

I have the same problem. Outlook worked fine for over a month and now it will not open. I need a solution this is my business account. any ideas???

Start Outlook once with the /resetnavpane command switch.
Start>Start Search>outlook.exe /resetnavpane
Be sure to include the space after ".exe".

Thank you. Your suggestion worked well. The part about the space before
the /resetnavpane was the key I was missing.
