Mark W.

Please help. I have set up a workgroup with the same
name on both computers. With firewalls disabled, both
computers can see each other, but cannot share anything.
I get "//pcname not accessible, Network path not found"
from the both machines. I have enabled sharing on both
machines and have "tcp/ip" and "file and printer sharing
for microsoft networks" installed. Whay else do I need
to do? Are there other components I need to install or
uninstall?

Hello Mark,

Try connecting using the PC's IP address instead (i.e. \\<ip address>); if this works then Netbios over TCP/IP may not be enabled on each PC.
