Ge

i'm running windows 200 server professional and i cant
share the c drive anymore. When i right click and select
share, nothing happens. The same nothing happens when i
right click on properties. It used to work. What may be
the cause of the problem and how can i solve it?

Hi Ge,

The most common cause we have seen of this is a virus. It disables the C share and thus the
symptoms you are seeing. If you have discovered such a virus and removed it, then uninstall
and reinstall File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks in the properties of the NIC. If you
have not discovered the virus, then suggest running a complete virus chekc on your system
and also runing another vendors on line scan, in case one missed it.

Hope this helps,
Gary
