cannot send out emails

Subject 'return date USS ANZIO', Account: 'pop3', Server: 'SMTP', Protocol:
SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:
0x800CCC0D.
What do I need to do so I can send emails out.
 
I cannot send emails I continue to receive this message please verify email
account and password that I no longer have. It was an old verizon account
that is not longer active. I cannot find out how to change with my new
account.

My new account to reply is (e-mail address removed) and have been for the past
10 years.
