I have Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000. When I click on send/receive nothing
happens. There are no errror messages. If I reboot my PC, then open Outlook
again and click send/receive, then I can once again send or receive email.
It will work fine for a while and then, for no reason, send/receive once
again stops working. Again, no error messages are displayed. I have run
scanpst and it does not detect any problems. I have created a new pst file
and the same problem occurs. I have double-checked all my configuration
settings - SMTP and POP3 are correct. The only solution to this problem has
been to reboot my computer. Obviously, doing this 3 to 4 times a day isn't a
solution.
I really need your help. I cannot find any info about this issue on technet
or anywhere on MS website or anywhere else for that matter!
Please help!!!
Thanks.
