Hi ,

Our organisation has customer stisfaction form in .oft format that need to
be sent to users in the mail to give there format. In recent times users
are not able to open the forms.

I learnt from a microsoft KB that recent servicepack of office 2003 does
not
support send .oft files over the mail.

Is there any other way to reach this form to users so that they can open it
properly give theire feed back.

Note: we cannot change the format of the form from .oft to other form as it
is organisational wide used. And I also Learnt that oft file can be open
with following method

the recipient will need to save the ..oft attachment as a file, then open it
with the Tools | Forms | Choose Form command.

This way of opening files is not advisable always,

Is there any other solution alternative users can open .oft files and work
on it without any extra steps.

kindly let me know.

your helpwould be appriciated.

Thanks in advance.

You already answered your own question: You can still send .oft files through the mail, but recipients will need to take extra steps to run them. Specifically, they will need to save the file, then launch it with the Tools | Forms | Choose Form command.

IMO, this makes .oft files unsuitable for conducting surveys of this type. I'd suggest moving to a web-based customer satisfaction form.
