I followed the directions, I THINK< lol for setting up gmail and I can now
recieve messages but cannot send to yahoo or att or gmail. does ATT and
yahoo have to have accounts set up here to accept messages if gmail is my
primary or do I need an outlook or hotmail account. I am new to windows
mail

You can send email to anyone without having the same mail provider
as the recipient.
Do you get an error message when you try to send? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Unless you've managed to get your email address blacklisted, you can send to
any valid email address via Windows Mail with Google as your mail provider.

By the way, it's really not a good idea to post to newsgroups with your real
email address. That's a sure way to get spam or have your account
hijacked.

can i close windows mail and just use hotmail?and why do i click save ad
still have ti sign in every time?

Yes, you can use Hotmail if you wish. How is the presence of Windows Mail
keeping you from using Hotmail?

Note: As a courtesy to your readers, please enable spell check.
