cannot send emails..

Help, I have changed the server connection to 587 without success, and back
to 25 without success. I have had this system for 3 months and suddenly I
cannot send emails but I can receive them.
 
What is the exact error message that is shown when you are trying to send . Can you post it in it's entirety back here so as we can help you
 
Well, don't know why you changed it back and forth . You're leaving out a
lot of details here. Who told you to do this? What ISP are you using? Lots
of info missing here.

Running anything that is scanning the e-mail for spam or viruses? Turn off
the scanning only and see if that cures it, which usually does.
 
I changed the server security # because that is what someone suggested in a
previous post. I also UNINSTALLED Norton as somone else said it is not
compatible with Windows Mail.

Now when I send an email it just goes straight to Outbox and those messages
won't go out. The previous Error Message was short just saying An Error
Occurred, but now there is no error message, the emails just won't go out.
??
 
So you 've got one that stuck in the Outbox thus keeping any others from
sending.

I recently purchased a new computer with Vista/Windows mail and can't send
emails with some music and video attachments. Error Number 0X800CCC19
appeared. Ideas??
 
More specifically: Subject ..., Account: 'pop-server.twcny.rr.com', Server:
'smtp-server.twcny.rr.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800CCC19
 
First of all do not hijack somebody's thread. Start a new post of your issues next time

As far as your issue is concerned disable your Anti Virus email scanner for incoming and outgoing email.

Could be the size of the e-mail attachments. If it goes over the limit
(which you'll have to check with the receiver's ISP mailbox size limit) then
it would be best to put the attachments on your personal web space and let
them download it from there with a link you provide.

Could be other things but check the file size of the e-mai lfirst.
