Hi,
Getting the following error when trying to use Winmail with my yahoo acct
info. I've tried checking/unchecking SSL and nothing seems to be working.

The SMTP port should be 465, not 25. Check that all your settings agree
with these.
To set up Yahoo in Windows Mail, you need a Yahoo Plus account.

Are you paying Yahoo separately for that account or is it sponsored through
Verizon? It makes a difference as far as which mail servers you should be using.

I do hae Yahoo Plus acct, it's not through Verizone, they are just the ISP.

Well, you're paying separately for something that is included for free
with your Verizon ISP account. AT&T has the same deal with Yahoo.

Windows Mail works fine as long as you put in the settings specified by your
mail service provider. I rather doubt that anyone here told you to use port
465 for the server mailout.comhem.se.
Make sure you have send authentication enabled.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.
You can have Swedish spell check by upgrading to the free replacement
program for Windows Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail
It will automatically import all your Windows Mail data.

Simply add a new mail account in your Windows Mail, using the
