CANNOT SEND EMAIL

I use Windows Mail and have Vista. I can receive emails, but cannot send.
I've changed my email acct to log in w/my email and passcode, turned off my
firewall and still cannot get my msgs to send out of my Outbox.

Here's my error msg:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: proposed budget info',
Account: 'Qwest Acct', Server: 'smtp.live.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
 
Worked for me thanks, I was stuck in this blizzard and could only recieve
e-mails but got the error when trying to send changing the port to 587
corrected the problem. Thanks
