Do you get an error message when you try to send? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Here's one of the messages I'm getting. I can't send ANY email from Windows
email which I just starting using a few weeks ago with my yahoo account.
This is so irritating. Any help would be appreciated.

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'test',
Account: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '530 authentication required - for help go
to http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-11.html', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

The following should correct your immediate problem:
Make sure you have send authentication enabled.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.

At your convenience, update all your settings to reflect
the latest directions for Yahoo's Mail Plus service:

The rejected e-mail address "([email protected]" has invalid
syntax. Remove the left parenthesis from the beginning of that
email address.
