I have tried to send an e-mail and it is coming up with this message:
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject '',
Account: 'Home', Server: 'mail.bmts.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response:
'550 5.7.1 <[email protected]>... Relaying denied', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I just solved my problem not being able to send e-mails. I have att yahoo
as my e-mail provider. I had to change my outgoing mail port from 25 to 465
and my incoming from 110 to 995. Everything works fine now. hopalong

Yep, that will get you around a blocked port 25 every time.

Totally irrelevant. It's a private server that you can't use anyway.
However two others that I have available are:
mail.socket.net
mail.starband.net
I also have the private one I usually use and one from my Web site,
www.fjsmjs.com
