Outlook has ceased sending e-mail. (It sent fine for four days prior to this
problem).

When I send a test e-mail I receive the following message:

"The specified server was found, but there was no response from the server.
Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct."

My ports numbers are:

Incoming server [mail.comcast.net] (POP3) Port 110
Outgoing Server [smtp.comcast.net] (SMTP) Port 25

I've tried both checking and unchecking the box "My outgoing server (SMTP)
requires authentication" as well as trying the other three options: "Use same
settings as my incoming mail server, Log on using and Log on to incoming mail
server before sending mail." Nothing seems to fix the problem.

What could be wrong?

Thanks.

But did you verify the SSL option (on the Advanced tab), like the error
message says?
