I have Vista Home Premium and recently it has developed a problem where in
some of my folders I cannot select multiple files i.e. When I try to import
pictures using windows explorer from my camera, I have to drag and drop them
one at a time, no holding ctrl or shift or even ctrl+a to select multiple,
only one at a time. It's not only my pictures or my camera folder either,
there have been several affected by this problem. Does anyone know what this
is?

From MVP Keith Miller:

"It's a quirk of Explorer that's been showing up on some people's machines.
No known cause yet, but it gets saved with folder views once it happens.
I've written a script that helps MOST people with the multi-select problem.
It will remove single-select from saved folder views & saved defaults.
Right-click the link below & select 'Save Target As..." -

Then extract the contents of the .zip file & run the script."
