Hello.
I am running a small network with 3 computers, two xp pro
machines and 1 xp home laptop. Everything worked fine
untill recent reformat of laptop now I can access all the
shared files on the network from the laptop but cannot
access any files at all on the laptop from either of the
other machines. I can ping the laptop and but I seem to
have only one way networking. I do not have any firewalls
running. I get this message when i try to access the
laptop:
\\Djhp is not accessible. You might not have permission
to use this network resource. contact the network
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions.
Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the
requested logon type at this computer.
Any help would be appreciated

Darren,

please have a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm.
One possible cause is the built-in firewall of Windows XP that
you have to disable on the LAN connection.
