Cannot see security tabs

Patricia

I installed XP Pro with SP1 and all the patches up to date
and I am running XP in classic mode as I like the 2000
style. I created a new account for my self and made it an
admin account as well. But now I cannot switch to the
built in admin account though I can see it under user
accounts. In login it doesn't show me that account to
choose to login. Also when I log in from my admin account
I cannot see the secutiy tab to set NTFS permissions for
folders.

Can someone tell me what I could be doing wrong or how I
can get around this problem?

Thanks
Pat

You are using the graphical login to windows?
It may be an idea to turn this off (in control panel somewhere)
But in the mean time, when the graphical login appears, press
ctrl-alt-delete twice, and this will bring up the old login screen,
where you can type in the administrator account
