We are having this intermittent issue where sometimes we cannot view some
resources schedules. We have five or six resources and today, when I went
to create a new appointment in Outlook 03, clicked on Scheduling, and added
one of our resources, it showed slashes (///////////) accross the schedule
so I could not view what was booked for that one resource.

I tried to view it from a few other user accounts with no luck. I then
logged into Outlook with that resources credentials and checked the
permissions on the calendar. Everything looked fine. I logged out and back
into my mailbox, and then I could that resources schedule. I have no idea
what made it start working again??? We've had this problem in the past with
different resources and have no idea why.

Has anyone come across anything like this before?

Maybe logging into the resources's mailbox refreshed it's free busy.
Since it eventually showed up; I think it may be due to replication
issues. I'm assuming you're on Exchange 2000/2003? The users who
experienced this are they on different site Exchange server than where
the resource mailbox is? How many free busy replicas and sites do you
have?

Logging on with the Outlook client generated it.
Or , you could have simply sent a test meeting to the room.
