No changes have been made to internet security settings. Was ok before could
go back and see page visited.

Now unable to see page, press back and says page cannot be displayed.

Checked setting a million times and there is nothing that stands out.

What if you click Back a second time?

but it is on pages where you need to enter information, that when you
go back it cannot display.

This may or may not help:
Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced and scroll down to the Security
section. Uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk".

"Frank

"Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is already unchecked. It has only just
started happening. The settings are the same as on another pc that works ok.

I've been looking into a simular issue. We have caching turned off, and when
the user hits the back button we get a simular message.

I did some analysis and it turns out the IE 6.0 SP2 is trying to get a
previous http:post from cache history but it isn't there.

What can I say, it would be good if IE add a configuration option that
allowed the post to be automatically sent to the server instead of displaying
the error screen.

I dont know if that helps you but I thought I would share the experience.

Warm Regards,
Lance Ahlberg
