I had Windows XP 64 and I installed a second larger drive into my computer. I
then bought Windows Vista Ultimate Upgrade package and installed it onto the
new empty larger hard drive. I can now boot into both the old OS (XP64) and
the new OS (Vista x64) with no issues.
However while in Windows Vista Ultimate X64 if I open up my computer, it
shows the old drive (The one with Windows XP64 on it) but it says Access
Denied. I have checked and I only have one user on this computer and it is
the one I am logged into and it is listed as an administrator.
Oddly I can see both the old and new drive while booted up from the older
Windows xp64.
Any ideas on how I can get Windows Vista Ultimate X64 to see my old C drive?
Just to clarify, the two OSs are on separate hard drives. Each hard drive
has one partition (The entire drive).
