Hello,

I have a problem with adding conatcts into my Contacts on
a Windows 2000/Outlook 2000 pc. There isnt an error but
when you try and view the newly added contact it's no
where to be seen. But when you try and add it again
Outlook asked if you'd like to update this contact because
it already exists. Any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

Start looking to see if you have more than one Contacts Folder or more than
one Personal Folders file in your Profile. It happens a lot.
View > Folder List.

I do Russ. Can I just delete the extra when in folder view.

Thanks
Steve

.

Yes, as long as it's not your default Contacts Folder. Make sure it has no
entries that you really need and be aware that you might need to reset the
Outlook Address Book to show your other Contacts Folder(s) instead.
