hi,

We get a problem using the advance search in outlook 2003, when one of our
user try to search e-mails in exchange folder (exchange 2003 enterprise), it
can't get any result but when she try to using the same search for local
pst, it can show the searched result. And the problem only apply to one user
in our network. Have anyone has similar experience or solution for this?
Thanks.

Ste the exact steps you're taking to perform the search.

We are using the outlook 2003 SP3, we use the advance search in the find,
and key in or select the "sent from" box, and then click the find, for some
user like me, I can have the search result with exactly the message I
needed, but for some users, nothing is returned.

And I just find that the only difference for those who can search and those
who can't search is that I 've cached the exchange folder and for those who
can't search is that they didn't cached the exchange folder. Is that I can't
search in the exchange folder is I don't cached it?

It would be easy enough to test. Have one of those people enable Cached
Exchange mode and see if that makes a diference.
