I've tried to send out several new appoints today using the Resource
Scheduling. Myself and other staff members get this error message:
"Outlook must be connected to the server in order to book a resource for a
meeting. You should save the meeting request and send it when you connect
to the server." We are connected to the server but it won't allow us to
book a resource.

HELP!

Thanks,
George

Hi George,

When you try to book a resource with direct booking your outlook client must
be able to make a connection to your mailbox and to the mailbox of the
resource you are trying to book. Verify the location of the resource and
that its server / store is accessible to your client.

Hope this Helps,

I'm using a group "Staff Email" as the resource. This way the appointments
we all make are autoaccpted into our calendars. I use to be able to so this
and now I am not. I can make an appointment if I send out as an Email that
everyone has to accept. So I am not sure if I understand your reponse about
the server/store being accessible to my clients?

Hi George,

When you book something as a resource we will attempt to do direct booking
on that mailbox. In this case you are using a group and I am not sure how
that will work. In theory if all of the members of the group are configured
to accept direct booking this might work but I am not sure.
