cannot save themes

I do not know what changed, but I can no longer save any
themes I make for my desktop. I am running xp-pro and I
have a relatively new PC. Is there a service not
running? or could an unistall removed a small component?

Do u mean maybe the XP Theme? Third party theme's and programs are not
supported by Microsoft.
