Cannot save the attachment

I have a user that is not able to open any .pdf e-mail attachments in Outlook
2003. She is able to open Excel and Word documents. The error that she gets
is:

Cannot save the attachment. Can't create the file: <filename>. Right-click
the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the
shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.

I have tried both opening it and saving it to the Desktop, but we receive
the error both ways. Any help is much appreciated.

Clear out the Outlook Secure Temp Folder. See this:

Cannot save Excel on my computer. I tried removing readonly option of the folerds. But it appears again automatically.
