cannot save movie maker file

Using VISTA and Movie Maker 2.6. File is about 32 MB in size; I've tried
chopping it up, increasing virtual memory, but to no avail. Papajohn's site
was interesting reading, but didn't provide a solution. I'm at wit's end.
Any ideas?

What is the format of the original video clip?

I suspect you have an issue with an incompatible
source file...have a look at the following links:
