OK, read just about everything but still need help. Running XP Media center
editon, svc pack 2, Movie Maker 2.1. Won't save and get the famous message
prior to it doing anything.

file is 136 MB large
I have 182 GB of disk space available
All source files intact....no red x's
Folder on C drive trying to save in is still there
Files (I believe) are all compatible
I have
Files in movie are:
Converted youtube video files using Zillatube into .mpg format
..wav audio files
..wmv files shot from a Logitech pro 9000 webcam
..avi files from Camstudio (screencast software)

I tried a small test project with .mpg and .avi Camstudio files and it saved
perfectly.

I am at a loss. I have about 15-20 hours into this video and lost another
full day trying to save this....this is for my business.

Can anyone help? You can take over my computer to see if you can get it to
work if needed.

Are you saying the .mswmm project file is 136 MB?
That would be a very large and complex project.

Could be incompatible source files and it could be
that your project is exceeding your system resources.

Maybe you could create several smaller projects and
save them in a movie format and then reimport the
saved movies to be combined into the final video.

My WMM is still driving me crazy. I made a video that is about 3
minutes long. But WMM won't let me save the file! I can save the file
using the normal save button but it won't let me "Finish" the movie.
I get the following message each time I try
"Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location.
Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still
available, that the saving location is still available, and that there
is enough free disk space available and then try again." I have enough
memory I'm sure of that. I reinstalled WMM, but it still won't save,
please help!

My Ram is 512 so I'm sure I have space, Please Help!
