I just finished editing my movie but when I go to create
it nothing happens. "Please wait while we create your
movie" appears but it doesn't go any farther. Also when I
try to play the entire storyboard it doesn't play. I put
all the clips together without editing them and the
storyboard played fine and the movie would save. All I
have done to the clips for my movie is shorten them and
made transitions, why is this effecting whether it will
save or not?
.
I am having the same problem. I spent over 40+ hours
straight on one presentation only to end up with
a "corrupt" file and had to start over again. I have
experienced the exact same thing. I have WMM2. In the
knowledge base it indicated that the movie file may be
too big (I have just under 1000 pics) but when I go to
save it, it says it is only 523 MB while the CD is 700 MB
so there should be enough room. Knowledge base suggest I
do one of the following options A)reduce the movie size B)
Reduce Movie Setting C) Increase the size of the paging
file or C) save the movie in smaller sections. I also
read something about this happening if you don't have
enough RAM but I have 1 gig of RAM so that should be
plenty. I am using a Pentium 4 with 2.3 (or was it 2.4)
mhz. Another knowledge base indicated that if using a
Nvidia card you can have problems and suggested to upgrad
to Movie Maker 2 and update the Nvidia card driver which
I have also done. I am very interested to see what your
results are or what others tell you to do.
