I have just upgraded from XP Home SP2 to XP Professional SP2 and can no
longer execute Disk Defragmenter using my normal user account.
I get the error message "MMC cannot open the file
C:\Windows\system32\dfrg.msc. This may be because the file does not exist,
is not an MMC console, or was crearted by a later version of MMC. This may
also be because you do not have sufficient access rights to the file".
I have created a new user account, which executes Disk Defragmenter
successfully. Hence I think I have a problem with access rights on my normal
user account.
How can I re-set the access rights on my normal user account?
Any help appreciated.
