Can anyone tell me right I cannot right click a url page while using
Internet Explorer 6.0, and get the normal menu, such as Create Shortcut,
etc ??

Thanks for any suggestions on this.

Do you mean all pages, or just certain ones?

Some pages have HTML code to disable the right click.
It's SUPPOSED to be used in case the designer wants to
give you some special right click functions geared to
that page.

But people use it to stop browsers from using the right
click as a quick way of saving pictures from their site.
Which just means you have to take the pictures the "hard"
way.

If this is what's causing your problem, you will just
have to write the URL down, and bookmark it later, when
you are not on that page. (The "hard way".)

Still on this board, waiting for a response to my
problem, a few threads down.

Yes, the problem exists with ALL webpages. There simply is NO right
click function.

Thanks.

Hi James,

One possibility is the presence of "NoBrowserContextMenu" value set to dword:00000001

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions]

Set the value to 0.

For automated fix, see my site here: http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k
Scroll down and download the REG fix for - Enable Right-Click in IE
