Cannot retrieve Old Emails

I recently hooked outlook up to my Internet email account
and seem to have lost a good portion of my old emails. If
they were archived, where are they? How do I get them back?
 
Search your hard drive for files with a .PST extension. If you're using
Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden and system folders
to find .PST files. Once you've found them, you can use the process
described on the following page to look inside and see what they
contain:
