any ideas? My pc is a p3 600mhz

Try a thorough checkdisk by booting with CD or boot floppies, select repair using the Recovery Console, at the prompt, type "chkdsk
[drive_letter]: /p /r" without the quotes. This option repairs file system errors and moves data off bad sectors in the purest
environment. If this doesn't help and you reinstall SP4 and still have the error, I would suspect your source file for the SP is
corrupt.

Bruce

If you install SP4 everytime and it doesn't boot up then
you have a crap donwload of SP4

Install win2000 reboot a few time and if thats fine...
just to make sure it is SP4 thats causing the problem
install it and reboot... if it doesn't reboot... SP4 is at
fault!
