Hi- I can't seem to remove the "instant access" dialer that has found it's
way onto my computer I think through a gaming software I downloaded and have
since uninstalled.

It won't remove either manually or through spyware removal programs. It
seems to recycle itself automatically and though I don't believe it has
actually been successful in dialing it's target, it has simply become an
unwelcome nusiance popping up frequently. It also only shows itself when I'm
using Netscape which is my default browser, which I've since uninstalled in
an unsuccessful attempt at manually removing the dialer.

Anyone?

I am not recommending that you purchase PestPatrol, info only on this page.

In Philly T. (Sad about the Eagles...) <Philly T. (Sad about the

Is this the same as a problem i am experiencing, regarding an "internet
trojan" apparently infecting my system and described as
"iworm_attck_v122.02a"?
I find it hard to accept the pressure to subscribe something called "Spy
Axe", to remove it, since my Norton Anti-virus programme [which is uptodate]
claims that my computer is clean.

SpyAxe is scumware.

SpyAxe is a Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Product. It uses desktop hijacking,
aggressive/deceptive advertising; uses inadequate scan/detection scheme.
