I have uninstalled a program named VersaJette UltraSaver.
Its name persists in the Add/Remove Programs tool (with no uninstall or remove
option.
I am trying to get rid of it from that tool.
According to several MSKB articles, the Names of listings in this tool are
located at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall under
the DisplayName key.
However, this program name does not appear there. I have checked both manually
and with two different search tools.
Is there any other place where this name could be coming from?
There are a bunch of other registry entries with this name, but none in the
particular section of the registry referenced in the MSKB articles.
The manufacturer has been useless in this regard.
I suppose one option would be to back up the registry, and then remove every
single entry that mentions this program -- but I'd like to solve the problem
with a finer scalpel.
