Good afternoon,

I have a user account that appears to be corrupt. The
user went in and deleted and totally messed her account
up. Now, when I go into the AD Users and Computers, the
account shows up at the root of the OU I created for
their company. I need to be able to remove it, however it
tells me :The specified directory attribute or value does
not exist.....

Any ideas on how to remove it from AD?

Thanks,

Patrick

It also says: Unable to view attribute or value. You may
not have permissions to view this object.

This appears to say that the admin account we have setup
doesn't even have the rights to do anything with it.
Perhaps the registry or a utility can be used to remove
it out of AD?

Hehe,

I fixed it. I had to go through the delegation of control
wizard to resolve this. I gave the administrator back
control of the account. It still would not delete so I
moved her account to a object named "Accounts to be
deleted". Then I deleted the account and the associated
mailbox as well. That was a lot easier than I thought.
