cannot remove a program

I installed Linksys software on my new Toshiba laptop, now
I cannot remove the entire program...I have uninstalled it
through programs/uninstall. I have gone into control
panel/add,remove and still there are some files left when
it is all done...any ideas!!!!!

This is a common problem with WinDuhs, not unique to Linksys
or Toshiba. M$ has never architected a proper procedure for
install/remove.

Since you know what the files are, just delete them. To be
safe, move those files to a quarantine folder (C:\JunkMe)
for a week or so to make sure none of them are needed by
anything else; then delete that quarantine folder.

You may also want to run RegEdit to hunt down and delete any
left-over entries in the registry. Again, for safety, I suggest
saving the dead entries in a quarantine folder before actually
discarding them.
