B Bill Sanderson Apr 10, 2004 #2 Check the events log at the host to see whether there are events indicating the lack of an appropriate driver. If so, supply one. If the printer is connected via USB, this KB article may apply: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302361 Note that if you make the registry change in the article, a reboot is required before it takes effect. In addition to using the information in the KB article to get the port redirected, you must also (still!) supply the printer driver at the host. If the host is a server, great care is needed in selecting appropriate drivers--make sure that they are certified with the host OS.
