cannot print from windows 2000 to any network printers

Am using a win2k on a network. I have 1 lx300 printer on
win95b, 1 citizen gx190 printer on win98se and 1 canon
bjc210 on win me. All these printers are on share level
access.
All computers can recognize and install these printers.
win95b, win98se and win me can print on these printers via
network except win2k.
I can print on these printers if I have these printers
individually connected as local printers to win2k but when
used in the network, it won't print.

Message is "Failed to print. Unable to create print job."
..

I've been working on this for 8 hours and asked epson and
canon technical support but the problem persists.

Need help to resolve this problem.

SYMPTOMS
=============
When you attempt to print from a Windows 2000-based computer to a printer
on a Microsoft Windows 98-based computer that is shared with a share-level
password, the print job may not succeed. You may receive the following
error message:

Could not start print job.

Depending on the program you are printing from, you may receive a different
message. For example, if you print from Notepad, you may receive the
following error message:

A StartDocPrinter call was not issued.

CAUSE
=========
This can be an authentication issue. The credentials (the user name and
password) offered to the Windows 98-based computer are the user name and
password of the user who is currently logged on to the Windows 2000-based
computer. The password may not match the user name and password for the
printer share.

RESOLUTION
===============
To resolve this issue, use any of the following methods:

o Set the password on the printer share to a blank (empty) password.
o Log on to the Windows 2000-based computer as a user who has a password
that matches the password for the printer share.
o Change the password for the printer share on the Windows 98-based
computer to match the password for the user who is currently logged on to
the Windows 2000-based computer.

MORE INFORMATION
==========================
If you require password protection for network resources, a better model to
use might be a domain model. In a domain environment, the Windows 98-based
computer could be set to use user-level access permissions to share the
printer.
